Lahore: Co-Chairman of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Asif Ali Zardari has refuted to shake his hands with Nawaz Sharif for eliminating the articles 62 and 63 from constitution.
He clarified that he would not become a part of any great debate saying Nawaz Sharif rather than democracy is facing threat.
According to sources Zardari said “ it is not correct that I am in any contact with Nawaz Sharif and we together want to abolish articles 62 and 63â€.
According to the source ex-president said that Nawaz Sharif priorities are different when he enjoys power and is in strong position and his priorities are changed when he is in distress. . He further commented that why Nawaz Sharif didn’t take notice of articles 62 and 63 when he was in power. He turned a blind eye to all democratic pacts while he was prime minister. It is Nawaz Sharif who is in danger not the democracy. His motive is to protect him therefore we will not become a part of great debate. We are not concerned with whether he is caught or otherwise.
