ABBASPUR: Indian Border Security Forces violated ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) and injured a civilian on Saturday in unprovoked firing, according to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).
A civilian, identified as Attique Querashi, son of M Khalil Qureshi, was injured due to firing by Indian troops in Chirikot sector.
Pakistani troops responded effectively to Indian unprovoked firing.
Indian troops have violated the ceasefire along the border several times this month. Two children, aged 9 and 14, were injured in firing in Nakyal and Balakot sectors on March 19. Moreover, a 60-year-old man and a 15-year-old girl were injured in firing on March 12 and a woman injured due to unprovoked firing by Indian troops along the LoC in Baroh area of Bhimber sector on March 9.
