Rawalpindi: (Parliament Times) At least four persons have been looted at gunpoint, while a house has been burgled within the Airport and New Town police jurisdictions.
Shahid Manzoor, a resident of Airport, lodged a complaint with the local police that burglars made their way into his house and made off with Rs0.1 million in cash and gold ornaments.
Meanwhile, Malik Tehseen, a resident of New Town, lodged a complaint with the local police that he was going with his wife and sister when three armed persons intercepted them, held them hostage at gunpoint and made off with two cell phones, two bangles and two tops, gold chain of his wife, and looted two gold rings, and chain from his sister.
Meanwhile, Waseem, a resident of same locality, lodged a complaint with the police that armed persons waylaid him at gunpoint and made off with purse containing Rs50,000 in cash, driving license and other documents.
The police have registered cases and started investigations.
