Srinagar: Incarcerated chairman Salvation Movement, Zafar Akbar Bhat paid rich tributes to Jammu martyrs on their 70 th martyrdom anniversary and said that we remember these pious souls because they laid their lives for a sacred cause. Meanwhile Women’s wing organized a freedom march atNowgam .RuqayaBaji led the procession and while raising freedom slogans the participants urged international community to intervene and urge India to fulfill its promise with people of Kashmir .
Addressing the gathering Ruqaya said that state administration is perpetrating brutal atrocities against unarmed people in state ,Demanding urgent release of all detainees ,Ruqaya urged Human rights organization for their cognizance .She expressed his anguish over the ill treatment against detainees in Baramulla Sub jail .
Meanwhile a deputation led by RuqayaBaji visited Nowgam and expressed her sympathies with the families of slain youth Shaheed Faisal Yousef Bhat and Meraj u Din Dar. on their third martyrdom anniversary. Meanwhile Javed Ahmad Rather and Farooq Ahmad Rather,Nasir Ahmad attended funeral prayers of slain youth QaiserAhmadf Sofi and extended condolences to bereaved families
