Lahore: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) tabled a resolution against hike in prices of petroleum products in Punjab Assembly on Saturday.
The resolution was submitted in the Punjab Assembly by PML-N member Hina Perveez.
According to details the PML-N members stated in the resolution that, they rejected the hike in prices and that the government has made it its habit to increase the cost of petrol after every 15 days.
The resolution stated that “House rejects the increase in the prices of petroleum products. The Rs10 increase in the price of petrol is an injustice to the poor people”.
The poverty-stricken people are unable to manage their livelihood due to inflation, she added.
The resolution submitted in the Punjab Assembly by (PML-N) demanded the concerned authorities to withdraw the decision immediately.
