The Henley Passport Index is a prominent digital survey forum regarding Visa ranking of the world countries. It aims at providing the original ranking of all the world’s passports according to the number of destinations their holders can access without a prior visa. According to the forum, The ranking is based on exclusive data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA), which maintains the world’s largest and most accurate database of travel information, and enhanced by ongoing research by the Henley & Partners Research Department. A few days ago, a report was launched against the ranking of the countries with reference to ‘Strongest and Weakest’ Visa of the country. In short, The Hanley Passport Index has released a list of the weakest and strongest passports in the world for 2021, according to which Pakistan ranks fourth among the worst passports. Repeating again, “Worst Passport”. This list estimates the strength of a country’s passports in terms of the number of visa-free countries. According to the list, the Japanese passport is the most powerful passport in the world and comes on top of the list. Holders can travel to 191 countries visa-free and do not need a visa to travel to those countries. Singapore is second, Germany and South Korea are third, Finland, Italy, Luxembourg and Spain are fourth, Austria and Denmark are fifth, France, Ireland, the Netherlands, Portugal and Sweden are sixth. Belgium, New Zealand, Norway, Switzerland, the United Kingdom and the United States are ranked seventh, Australia, the Czech Republic, Greece and Malta are ranked eighth, Canada is ranked ninth and Hungary is ranked tenth powerful visa country. Afghanistan’s passport has been named the world’s weakest passport, ranking 110th at the bottom of the list. Afghan passports offer visa-free or on-arrival visa entry to only 26 countries. After that, Iraq is ranked 109th and Syria’s passport is ranked 108th. They can travel to 28 and 29 countries on a visa-free or on-arrival visa, respectively. Besides, Pakistani passport has been declared the weakest at number four and is at number 107 in the list. Holders of Pakistani passports enjoy visa-free or visa-on-arrival in 32 countries only. The Bangladeshi passport has visa-free entry facilities in 41 countries, making it 101st on the list. Moreover, Indian Passport ranks 85th in the list of 58 countries offering visa-free entry or on-arrival visas.
