SRINAGAR: A high level delegation of Hurriat leaders led by Salvation Movement chairman, Zafar Akbar Bhat on Wednesday visited various Martyrs and pellet victims in ‘Srinagar at Khrew Shaar. He was accompanied by JKLF (H) chairman Javed Ahmad Mir,Young Mens League chairman Imtiyaz Ahmed Reshi, Shababul Muslimeen Sajad Ahmed, KFM Musadiq Mehraj ,Tehreek e Pasbaan Aijaz Ahmed, JKSM leaders Nazir Ahmed ,Sameer Ahmed visited residences of Martyrs and pellet victims including Martyrs Shabir Ahmed,M.Shafi,Gulzar Ahmed,Nazir Ahmed Bala, Mushtaq Jamsheed in Khrew Shaar etc. and expressed their solidarity with the bereaved family of PHD scholar Shabir Ahamad Mongu ,who was killed by forces while in custody .On the occasion Hurriat leaders while expressing with the family said that nation will never forgive the killers and they stand answerable for killing innocent youth. Leaders expressed his solidarity and sympathy with victims and assured all possible help ..Leaders also paid glowing tributes to prominent freedom leaders Shaheed Gen. Shoib nisar and Anwar ul Islam Rafi on their 24th martyrdom anniversary said that people will continue freedom movment till its logical end.
Zafar Akbar while expressing his dismay over the deteriorating condition of these pellet victims, demanded immediate halt on use of these lethal weapons while solidarity with pellet victims Nazar ul Islam,Wasil Hussain at their home. He also paid tributes martyrs Shamim peer and Mukhtiyar Haji. He said that the pellet gun has created mayhem in valley and ruling class is enjoying power and perks. He appealed international community and human rights organisations to play their role and use their influence to stop use of lethal weapons against peaceful protestors.
