Karachi: Flight operations across the country have been restored except Lahore and Multan.
Pakistan Civil Aviation Authority has restored the flight operation at Islamabad, Karachi, Peshawar and Quetta airports according to daily routine.
Due to escalation in indo-pak tensions, airspace and airports of Pakistan were sealed for commercial flights that were restored partially on Friday.
However, on Saturday, it was announced to restore flight operation as per routine.
Due to prevailing situation in both nuclear neighbours, airports of Multan and Lahore will be reopened for flight operation on March 4 at 1pm.
Till that time, passengers who wanted to go to Lahore are being sent to Islamabad and Peshawar airports.
Peshawar airport officials said that flights at Bacha khan airport are continuing according to the routine.
On the other hand, Railway officials said that Thar express has also departed for India by taking 579 passengers.
