Muzaffarabad: (Parliament Times) The Prime Minister of the Azad government of the State of Jammu and Kashmir Raja Muhammad Farooq Haider Khan has congratulated the newly elected office bearers of National Press Club Islamabad, here on Friday.
In his felicitation messages to the newly elected President Mr Shakil Qarar, he congratulated the president Shakil Qarar and Secretary Anwar Raza for winning the elections of the press club.
He expressed the confidence that the new office bearers will take forward the process of welfare of journalists. He said that their election was an evidence of trust and confidence of Journalist fraternity reposed in them. The Prime Minister expressed hope that newly elected representatives of National Press Club will utilize their capabilities to resolve the problems faced by the journalist community and freedom of press. Farooq Haider Khan said that freedom of expression was essential for strengthening democracy in the country. He prayed for their success during their tenure.
