Rawalpindi: Thousands of high and secondary schools across Punjab including Rawalpindi are running without permanent Heads.
According to media reports, the seats of permanent Heads of 4583 High and higher secondary schools are lying vacant since the last 5 to 7 years disrupting the management system of these schools.
On the other hand, due to non appointment of permanent head master or headmistress in the schools, government doesn’t have to pay any monthly allowance to the head of the schools.
There are 550 schools in the Rawalpindi division which are having no permanent headmaster or headmistress and this number is the highest as compare to any other district.
