    A JIT formed to take action against illegal occupants living illegally in government buildings

    Muzaffarabad, (Parliament Times) : DG anti-corruption in action after serious complaints of public and government employees against illegal occupants of government buildings for years. The JIT was formed to take action against the illegal occupants residing illegally in government-owned state buildings under the administration of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. SP anti-corruption Muhammad Saleem Durrani in-charge while Arif Majeed PDSP and Syed Asad Bukhari inspector anti-corruption appointed members. A report was called for within a week. According to the media report, in the context of the anti-corruption campaign in the state by Prime Minister Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Anwar-ul-Haq, the DG Anti-Corruption Azad Jammu and Kashmir Anti-Corruption Establishment Rule 1993 by using the powers obtained under Rule Six of Rule Three. Became active. DG Anti-Corruption constituted a JIT of highly competent and dynamic officers for the inquiry under the Azad Jammu and Kashmir Anti-Corruption Establishment Act, 1993, and assigned highly honest, conscientious, and dynamic SP Muhammad Saleem Durrani as the in-charge team for anti-corruption. Along with him, PDSP Arif Majeed and Syed Asad Bukhari Inspector Anti-Corruption have been appointed as members and issued instructions to complete their investigation within seven days and submit a detailed report so that further action can be taken. On the action taken by DG Anti-Corruption to evict the illegal occupants from the government buildings, there has been a wave of happiness among the employees of the government circles. The officials and presidents of the employees’ organizations have described this action as praiseworthy and said that for years the government employees were living in rented houses. Due to this, he was facing severe difficulty and agony. He has demanded the DG Anti-Corruption expose the influential group occupying the government houses of other departments besides the Public Health Department vacate the houses from them and hand them over to deserving government employees.
