MIRPUR ( AJK), (Parliament Times) : Ex-President Azad Jammu Kashmir Supreme Court Bar Association Raja Inamullah Khan Advocate anf Member District Bar Association Mirpur Aamir Khan Jaral Advocate, have in a joint statement here on Thursday called upon the AJK government to refrain from making any change in administrative set up in civil and legal structures of Azad Jammu Kashmir state.
Our Special Jammu and Kashmir state Correspondent Altaf Hamid Rao reports that both the lawyers communiy leaders warned that there would be strong resistance on the part of the legal fraternity and masses across the AJK State if the existing structure was altered through any proposed constitutional amendments under any proposed conspiracy.
“Any such move on the part of incumbent Prime Minister Anwar ul Haq led coalition AJK government could prove to be detrimental to the fate of the PM Anwar Ch. administration, they observed.
Both the AJK fraternity leaders warned that the PM Anwar ul Haq-led coalition government might fall
as a result of impending public besides lawyers reaction and resistance against the the government’s alleged proposed move of removing the Advocate General and appointing him as per his desire, the statement said.
The legal fraternity leaders observed as saying “the AJK PM Anwaar Chaudhry Anwar seems seeking to become Farooq Haider [ ex AJKPM]”. But he should know that there was quite difference of the past and the present loke difference between the earth and the sky”, they added.
” Any such move of bringing about proposed changes in the working ingredients conditions of the civil and legal afministrative structure in the stateIt will not be in the interest of its citizens, who will never ever accept it at any cost”, the lawyers leaders categorically opined.
“The consultation on proposed reducing of the tenure of the Chief Justice of AJK and the move to making any change in the existing structure of the Supreme Judicial Council in the State will never succeed and if it is done, it will raise the voice against the move across the state, they maintained adding that such measures could resort to great harm to the fate of the state of Azad Jammu and Kashmir.
Raja Inamullah Khan Advocate said that lawyers across the state will safeguard the rights of the state and when ever needed the lawyers communiy and masses of the state, by getting united on a platform, will strongly resist and frustrate the AJK government’s such conspiracy with full vigor”, they concluded.
