MIRPUR (AJK),  (Parliament Times) : Shaheed Kashmir freedom struggle leader Dr. Abdul Ahad Guru was paid rich triburs at a condolence reference held at US State of Dallas held on the eve of his 31st martyrdom anniversary commemorated on Monday, says a message reaching and released to the media here on Tuesday.

Our Special Jammu and Kashmir state Correspondent Altaf Hamid Rao reports that while paying rich tributes to the giant son of the Dr. Guroo, a cardiologist by profession, for giving supreme sacrifice of his life for the liberation of occupied Jammu Kashmir state from Indian clutches, speakers including Raja Muzaffar, acting chairman of Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front, JKLF – Yaseen Malik Group) said that Dr. Guru’s conviction that occupied Kashmir would one day be liberated.

Dr. Guroo, he recalled, had expressed these views in a 1991 interview to media on Delhi.

“Shaheed Kashmir freedom struggle leader remains a source of inspiration for those fighting for Kashmir’s freedom from unlawful occupation of India”, he underlined. Despite facing challenges, he remained dedicated to the cause of liberation of the occupied motherland for Kashmir.

“Dr. Abdul Ahad Guru’s tragic death at the hands of unknown assailants in IIOJK, left a void in the hearts of many who knew him. His legacy of saving lives and instilling hope in his patients continues to be remembered, he said

As the Kashmiri community reflects on Dr. Guru’s legacy, questions surrounding his killer remain. Muzaffar highlighted the impact of internal conflicts on Kashmiri struggles and called for unity in the fight for justice and freedom, the message said.

Other speakers while paying rich tributes to shaheed Dr. Aad Guroo, said that despite the obstacles faced by the Kashmiri people, Dr. Abdul Ahad Guru’s spirit lives on as a guiding light for those seeking independence and justice in the region. They concluded by expressing hope that Dr. Guru’s legacy would inspire continual efforts towards early freedom of occupied Jammu Kashmir state
