Mirpur, (AJK)  (Parliament Times) : With reference to condemning the incident at KFC in Mirpur, a meeting of Mirpur Chamber of Commerce and Industries was held under the chairmanship of Chamber President Sabir Hussain Shah. Senior officials of Mirpur Chamber of Commerce, members of the executive committee and former presidents and officials participated in the meeting.

The participants of the meeting strongly condemned the attack on the KFC branch by miscreants in Mirpur and passed the resolution unanimously. The resolution said that this meeting strongly condemned the attack on Mirpur branch of KFC, causing loss of crores of rupees, harassing and injuring hundreds of employees.

The resolution demanded the government of Azad Kashmir and the district administration of Mirpur to investigate the incident and bring forward all the characters involved and give them the most severe punishment so that no miscreant would dare to do such an act in the future.

The resolution demanded the Azad Kashmir government to immediately punish those involved in the attack on KFC, affecting the image of Mirpur as an international and peaceful city and hurting the sentiments of overseas Kashmiris.

Panic has arisen among the industrialists and businessmen of Mirpur while the businessmen have become victims of insecurity.

In order to restore the confidence of the business community, the government should take immediate steps to restore the confidence of the business community. The resolution said that an immediate assessment of the loss of the affected business enterprise should be made and the compensation should be paid.
