Taxila, (Parliament Times) : First ever “Laparoscopic Hysterectomy” successfully conducted in Alam Hospital of Wah Cantt. According to the Director hospital Dr Ellahi Bukash Awan, the procedure was done by Consultant Laparoscopic and Bariatric Surgeon Dr Umar Bashir and his team while the anesthesia services were provided by consultant anesthetist Dr Rashida Farooqi and her team. He said that the medical director of the hospital Dr Munsifa Batool Malik has played a key role in making all arrangements. Responding to a question, he said that the patient has recovered fastly post operatively. “The aim of sharing this achievement with you is nothing except to let you know that our doctors and paramedics of Wah and vicinity are equally competent if provided with the required infrastructure”. He added.
