Rawalpindi, (Parliament Times) : The funeral rites of the late Syed Waqar Ali Shah, the well-known Bureaucrat, were commemorated at the Mosque and Imambargah Khadijata-ul-Kabri Phase 5 in Bahria Town, Rawalpindi. A large number of prominent religious and political personalities, citizens of the twin cities, relatives, and friends participated in the ceremony.
Syed Waqar Shah continued to perform duties in various departments and retired in Grade 20. During this time, he also performed social services and took the lead in helping the common people.
He was the father of Aun Shah, and a well-known political and business personality, Mah Vish Ali. The dignitaries present on the occasion of Rasam Chehlum’s condolence reference paid great tribute to the services of Syed Waqar Shah. While a prayer was made for the elevation of the ranks.
