Muzaffarabad, (Parliament Times) : Former President and Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir, Member of the Legislative Assembly Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan has said that Kashmiris should be given the basic right, the right to self-determination according to the United Nations, the Kashmiri people have made immense sacrifices for the Azad Kashmir movement.
1618 days have passed since Indian brutality and lockdown in Occupied Kashmir, and the people of the occupied valley are being deprived of their basic human rights, children, and old people, especially the youth are being martyred, he said.
The worst atrocities are being committed, the international human rights organizations and the United Nations should immediately take notice and play their role to stop the ongoing persecution by India in Occupied Kashmir, he expressed these views while talking to the public delegations.
During this, he said that the hearts of the Kashmiri nation and the Pakistani nation beat together, Kashmir Unity Day will be grandly celebrated on February 5.
He said that the Kashmiris have never backed down from their fundamental right, the right to self-determination. Great steps have been taken to solve the basic problems of the people of the Azad region, the people will be given their basic facilities at their doorsteps, he said.
Pakistan People’s Party should achieve full success in the upcoming elections of Pakistan and will form the government, the basic problems of the Pakistani people were solved at their doorsteps, the Pakistan People’s Party is the only party that represents the aspirations of the people, he said.
