Dr Muhammad Tahir Tabassum
Black modules are executed in broad daylight. World needs to wake up to the harsh realities of killing voices with global imprint. Our talent pool is on the radar and act we must. Can the modules be decoded for the common global good. Targeted assassinations are not the novel practices in world affairs. It predates dawn of civilizations and can rightly claim utmost sophistication and unprecedented innovation in its evolutionary history.World still recounts how the first ever recorded targeted assassination of Egyptian King Teti was carried out with mechanized precision as early as 23 rd century BCE. What are the motivating factors or the collective rationale behind high potential targeted assassinations? What goes into the perception and planning of such acts and who actually are the beneficiaries of such black operations, are certain basic questions that have always been asked but are yet to be answered to the level of satisfaction and contentment. The world as we know today has ceased to be a clear and homogenous place. The ambiguity becomes more opaque and severe when the elements of strategy, sponsorship, planning and perception of quasi-threats spring up. In the guise of strategic preparedness and anticipation of “quasi-threats”, an active and vicious black module is born. This module is mandated to carry out nefarious designs and malignant missions usually ending up in black assassinations. The civilizes world we live in has a long history of coveted black operations designed to silence or eliminate potential voices. Assassination is an assassination! The potentiality of an individual is assessed, analyzed and calculated, skills weighed and a perception of threat is born. This modusoperandi is universal in nature and is thought to be the golden path for black modules world over by intelligence experts. Ask Thomas Baryon Hunter, the renowned Defence Intelligence expert about coveted black operations resulting in unjustified assassinations of potential individuals, he draws a thin line between Targeted assassinations and simple black assassination by simply associating the factor of legality with an association to qualify it as an indispensable act of strategic defence. He calls it an effective panacea in the defense strategies. We may ridicule such distinction and understandably do not agree with any such extra judicial or anti-humane practices. Mr. Hunter Let us agree to disagree. We have few defence experts who are reluctant to second the thought-line of Hunter. Experts toeing the normative line believe that the most subjectified term in operations is the term “Threat”. Nobody can give a clear normative model of how threats are perceived and decoded. Threat? From whom to whom? What is the larger picture where the threats or call them “Quasi-threats” without State approval fit in and have potential to impact, are the questions worth asking in this regard. How easily an extra-judicial and extra-state agency or module can create and mould threats to fulfill their nefarious designs is a major cause of concern for civil society world over. The part of the world we call home has its own share of black operations. The potential voices emanating from Indo-Pak sub-continent having global impact and power to influence any global discourse for the larger good of humanity were easily silenced with minimal outcry to insensitivity of state towards such heinous incidents. Looking at the incidents of Selective assassinations around us, it is pretty easy to conclude that testify the black modules in-operation are out on a spree to silence any voice which has either dissent or is capable of bringing a change in the time to come. It seems their radars are active, calculations precise and predictions solid. Potential military and political assassinations are beyond the scope of this article, but Intellectual assassinations continue to remain a major cause of concern for the sensible sections of the society world over. We have seen enough of it: Assassination of social activist of Pakistan Sabeen Mohmud seems an incident of forgotten importance. Nobody talks now about him or his assassination. Results are not drawn, lessons not learnt and legacies left behind nobody knows when. Cold Blooded assassination of internationally renowned journalist Syed Shujaat Bukhari in Indian Occupied Kashmir can be a classic example of selective/targeted intellectual assassination. killing of Advocate Syed Baber Qadiri of IOK is still an unsolved puzzle. Qadiri’s murder couldn’t spark even a potential debate not to talk about the full course of outcry and demands for stopping the black operations to eliminate our budding voices of change. The selective/targeted killing of world-renowned journalist Shareen Abu Akelah in Gaza few months back is now a forgotten case. Similarly, Rafael Emix, Gauri Lankesh…. the list is long and certainly painful. To add to the list we have a budding voice of change who held a promise of so many good things was silenced recently on 29 October in London. This is the peculiar case of Syed Farazeen Qadiri. Farazeen belonged to the family of unique and resourceful souls. The family of spiritual guides, intellectuals and unparallel scholars. He carried an unmatched legacy which span over various dimensions ranging from meta-physical, spiritual to mundane. The grandson of one of the most revered spiritual figures of sub-continent following Naqashbandi spiritual school of thought, Murshadi Hazrat Syed Mohammad Shah Qadri Naqashbandi commonly revered as “Murshidi Baji Sahab” who still continues to remain a source of spiritual guidance and solace to hundreds of thousands across globe. Syed Farazeen Qadiri with his astonishing set of skills, intelligence, strong character and under the able guidance of his father, Syed Muhammed Iqbal Qadri (Najam ul Saqib) was able to secure the prestigious “High Potential Individual visa” from the Govt of Britain, the University of London, from where he earned his bachelors in Law (LLB). He chose the Prestigious University of Melbourne, Australia for his LLM (Post Graduation). It seems that this young boy was in great hurry trying to hold as much sky as possible within his wee hands. His polished and professional conduct and intelligence fetched him a place in the Prestigious Senate House in London University. He was elected as the Vice-President of the students Association. There are numerous great achievements this young boy accomplished in his brief yet resourceful life (which I feel are currently out of the scope of this article). Needless to say that Syed Farazeen Qadri continues to remain an asset, a source of pride and a lost gem for his family and for all those whom he had influenced one way or the other. Farazeen could easily shape his life and character in the soothing shadow of his father Syed Iqbal Qadri a person of high intellectual caliber, Man of ideology and the central and pivotal pillar in the globally extended Qadri Family. Mr. Qadri is a social and political reformist, who has his own share of sacrifices and endurances. Syed Farazeen Qadri was silenced in London and the causes leading to his sudden demise are absolutely non-palatable and ambiguous. “His unexplained demise points towards a global algorithm to deprive the ill-fated Muslim Ummah of its talent and promising human resources”, were the words of a famous Geo-political analyst, who wished to remain anonymous. Call it a module or a Black op, a voice holding an incredible potential was silenced there by crushing the hopes and dreams of change so many people had pinned with him. World needs to come out, resist and force the global powers to dismantle the black modules who are depriving humanity of its assets and chances of good and healthy change. Farazeen like other ill-fated intellectuals could have made mind-boggling changes and they absolutely didn’t deserve this fate. How can we urge the global policy makers that the vicious black modules need to be exposed and their operatives must be put to task? They owe answers to humanity and answers must they give. We can only hope that high potential individuals like Farazeen are treated as assets by world community, they are preserved, protected and given duly what they deserve. Pakistan and United Kingdom governments and related agencies must dig out of Syed Farazeen Qadri strategic target assassination in earlier time. His Chehlum dua will end on December 5, 2023, that is his birthday too.
