Quetta,(Parliament Times) : Vice Chancellor of Mir Chakar Khan Rand University, Sibi, Prof. Dr. Qadir Bakhsh Baloch met Governor Balochistan Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar on Monday at Governor’s House, Quetta.
During the meeting, the university’s performance, teaching methods, modern skills, and plans were discussed. On this occasion, Governor Balochistan said,” There is an urgent need to create collaboration between the academia and the market according to their social needs. In this regard, we have to introduce Livestock Management and Animal Husbandry and Engineering and Technology departments at Mir Chakar Khan University, Sabi,”.
He said that there was a dire need for modern skilled people in society. The role of all public sector universities in Balochistan is very important in increasing the number of skilled people in the province.
Governor Balochistan said, “The students of Harnai and Ziarat will get access after the rehabilitation of the twin city Sibi and Harnai railway. He while appreciating Vice Chancellor Mir Chakar Khan Rand University Sibi Professor Dr. Qadir Bakhsh Baloch and his tireless efforts, said that there are great expectations from the responsible persons of public sector universities.
