Muzaffarabad, (Parliament Times) : While voicing his serious concern over the fast deteriorating political and human rights situation in the occupied territory of Jammu and Kashmir (OK), the Prime Minister, Azad Kashmir Chaudhry Anwar ul Haq, has urged the international community to take effective cognisance of the Indian state terrorism in the Occupied Kashmir.
The AJK premier said that the continued bloodshed and violence in the restive region merits the urgent attention of the world community. He said that the Indian occupation forces deployed in length and breadth of the region have been grossly involved in the genocide and ethnic cleansing of Kashmiris.
He said that the United Nations and other international organizations should take notice of the matter and help stop the bloodbath of innocent Kashmiris who were being ruthlessly killed, day in and day out, by the Indian forces.
Prime Minister Chaudhry Anwar Haq said that India’s apartheid regime had broken all records of barbarism and brutality in occupied Kashmir.
He said that after stripping occupied Jammu and Kashmir of its special status on August 5, 2019, India was now trying to change the region’s demography by issuing fake domiciles to ex-servicemen and other non-state residents.
Terming it as a flagrant violation of the UN Security Council resolutions and international laws, the PM said that issuing domiciles to non-Kashmiris was a deep-rooted conspiracy intended to convert the region’s Muslim majority into a minority.
Lauding the Kashmiris’ unprecedented struggle and their sacrifices for the noble cause of freedom, the PM said that the Kashmiri people have made immense sacrifices for achieving the right of self-determination.
He said that despite India’s state terrorism, Kashmiri people would continue their struggle until they achieve the cherished goal for which they offered unprecedented sacrifices.
