Muzaffarabad, (Parliament Times) : The people of Occupied Kashmir also have the right to celebrate Eid freely. I will be

Muhammad Tahir Khokhar said that Europe and America are making a dual policy, on one hand they talk
about freedom, democracy and human rights, on the other hand they talk about India. Together they are
oppressing the people of Occupied Kashmir, the weapons that America gives to India are the same
weapons that are used on Kashmiris. He does not see the blood of Kashmiris, thousands of women have
become widows The children have become orphans, their mothers have been taken away from them,
India and the United States are responsible for this. They should be given their basic right to self-
determination so that they too can breathe in the atmosphere of freedom and celebrate Eid with freedom
and pray, but there is a religious ban on them. We appeal to the United Nations to support the Kashmiris
in giving freedom to the people of Occupied Kashmir, to end the forced detention of them, to lift the
curfew and to offer them Eid prayers including Friday prayers. The ban on reading all Eids should be
removed.He said that the world should see the real face of India, no religion is free in India, there are all
kinds of restrictions on Muslims, there are restrictions on Sikhs, the Modi government has made India a
Hindu state where no other nation or religion is free. Yes, he appealed to all the world of Islam and the
United Nations to play their role for the freedom of Kashmir from India. In today’s modern era and despite
the existence of religious freedom and human rights organizations, India has forcibly occupied Kashmir.
Kashmiris should be freed from India.
