FAISALABAD: We should make collective efforts for environment protection particularly to reduce the adverse impact for enabling environment to increase industrial and economic growth, said Mrs. Rubina Amjad, President Faisalabad Women Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FWCCI). She was talking to the media on the World Environment Day.
She said that pollution is bad for businesses particular to the women led businesses as it causes more dangerous to the females running their own businesses as breathing polluted air directly affect to the human life. She said it has also affected the climate change due to which twin pressures of global warming and melting of glaciers has caused devastating floods in the past.
She said that improved situation in the environments will result into productivity of workers and healthy environments for women led businesses. She said that women are mostly doing small and medium scale businesses and healthy environments will be more and more beneficial for growth and development of their businesses.
