Quetta,  (Parliament Times) : Governor Balochistan Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar has said that for the economic development and prosperity of the country and the province, it is necessary that our women also work side by side with men. He said that when the rains were heavy or not at all in the province, in both cases, landlords faced many problems. A comprehensive strategy has to be devised to overcome the problems and difficulties faced. He expressed these views while addressing the participants of the program organized by PPAF in Quetta, the provincial capital, regarding the Program for Sustainable Rural Development and Prosperity (GRASP Project).On the occasion, Provincial Minister Noor Muhammad Domar, former center Roshan Khursheed Brocha, PPAF chief Nader Gul Barich, Jahanzeb, and Tahir Rashid were present. On this occasion, Governor Balochistan has said that the agriculture and livestock sectors are very important for the economic development of the province. He appreciated the ceremony of distribution of matching grants of 260 million rupees to 117 small and medium enterprises under GRIPS, PPAF’s sustainable rural development project. Governor Balochistan said that the GRASP project was being implemented with the financial support of the European Union in collaboration with the International Trade Center (ITC), Pakistan Poverty Alleviation Funds (PPAF), and the Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO). Finally, Governor Balochistan distributed checks and shields to SMEs and participants. Earlier, Governor Balochistan also inspected the stalls set up on the occasion of the Program for Sustainable Rural Development and Prosperity.
