Quetta, (Parliament Times): The implementation of the decisions made in the previous meeting of the Apex Committee under the chairmanship of Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Qudous Bizenjo has been started. Owners and drivers of buses and wagons were strictly instructed to ensure the installation of trackers in their vehicles to check the speed of the vehicles to protect the health and wealth of the passengers. The decision to ban the carrying of petrol, diesel, and other flammable materials in these passenger vehicles should be strictly implemented. In this regard, the administration of all the districts across the province has started checking the passenger vehicles on the highways passing through their areas. The speed of all the vehicles is being checked while the presence of petrol, diesel, or other flammable materials in the vehicles is also being monitored. In addition, on the instructions of Deputy Commissioner Sohrab yesterday, the concerned police started checking the vehicles, during which they stopped a passenger wagon carrying oil on the CPEC Zero Point National Highway and took legal action against the driver as per the law and FIR was also registered. The driver also did not have valid vehicle documents, which were changed by forgery. Chief Secretary Balochistan Abdul Aziz Aqeeli directed all commissioners, deputy commissioners, and provincial transport authorities to check the speed of passenger vehicles on national highways and ban illegal materials. It is directed to establish an effective mechanism to prevent illegal transporting.
