Muzaffarabad, (Parliament Times) : President (AKNS ), Chaudhry Amjad and Secretary General Zaheer Jagwal led newspaper owners and met with Secretary Information Ansar Yaqub. Director General Information Raja Azhar Iqbal was also present on this occasion. The delegation included Vice Chairman Press Foundation Syed Abrar Haider, General Secretary AKNS Zaheer Ahmed Jagwal, Member Press Foundation Shahzad Rathore, Ejaz Abbasi, Sardar Ejaz, and Abid Abbasi were present while saying that there were arrears of six crore rupees due to various departments. Due to the non-receipt of money on time, many problems were faced. Advertisements are almost non-existent after paper rolls. Due to the ever-increasing inflation, the cost of paper, plate, and printing increased several hundred times, it has become very difficult to print a newspaper. Steps should be taken to increase the normal budget, including getting one percent from the development budget. Information Secretary Ansar Yaqub assured the delegation that the issue will resolve. They have a major role in the freedom movement. The employment of thousands of people is related to the newspaper industry. There is also a special directive from the Prime Minister of Azad Kashmir to strengthen the newspaper industry. The Information Secretary assured the delegation that advertisements are the backbone of the newspaper industry. Newspapers are aware of the problems in the industry and will try to solve these problems.
