Quetta, (Parliament Times) : Under the chairmanship of Commissioner Quetta Division Sohail Ur Rehman Baloch, a meeting was held regarding the implementation of the national energy policy because of the energy crisis. In the meeting, Energy Secretary Bashir Bazai, Deputy Commissioner Quetta Shahak Baloch, Assistant Commissioner Quetta Division Babar Khan, Deputy President Chamber of Commerce Abdul Ahad Agha, President Central Association of Trade Union Balochistan Abdul Rahim Kakar, Vice President Yasin Mengal, Syed Haider Agha and Wali Afghan were present. In the meeting, various proposals regarding the implementation of the federal energy policy and the decision of the provincial cabinet were discussed. On this occasion, taking into account the concerns of union trade and the Chamber of Commerce, important decisions were taken regarding the energy crisis. All the marriage halls and restaurants of the city will be closed at 10 pm while various suggestions regarding load shedding will be implemented in the main business areas while businesses will be closed at 8:30 pm in other suburbs. In this regard, union trade will cooperate fully with the district administration to ensure the implementation. Addressing the meeting, Commissioner Quetta Division said that the policies of the federal government and the decisions of the provincial cabinet have been implemented in all possible ways to overcome the energy crisis. He said that the business community has always cooperated with the administration at every opportunity, so by removing their concerns, implementation will be ensured only with their cooperation.while businesses in other areas will be closed so that maximum electricity would be saved. He said that during Ramadan and Eid shopping, acceptable decisions will be taken by taking the traders into confidence so that the business of the traders will not be harmed. The district administration should issue notices in the first phase to ban marriage halls and restaurants so that they would be convinced in this direction.
