Balochistan, (Parliament Times) : A jirga was held with local tribal elders in the Kahan area of ??Balochistan. The Jirga was attended by FC officials and local elders. The general security situation of the area and other issues were discussed. The chiefs appreciated the welfare measures taken by the FC in the area and reiterated that they will fully support their security forces to maintain peace and order. Speaking in the Jirga, the FC officials said that the FC youth will continue to visit Kahan and adjoining areas so that terrorists will not get a chance to attack the area again. It should be remembered that after the local settlement started in Kahan and the overall security situation improved, FC Balochistan vacated its posts in Kahan and handed them over to the local administration. In the Jirga, lunch was also organized by the FC for tribal elders and local people. Finally, FC officials distributed free medicines and free relief packages for Ramadan to local needy people and patients.
