Hajira, (Parliament Times) : The political and social leader of Dari kot Serrari Mr Muhammad Rafaqat Kashmiri, said that a dispensary was established in Dari kot in 1983 for Ghundi khet and other suburbs of Darikot, in which about a dozen dispensers worked and got retired but the government and the health department said that the dispensary was not there while Dr Muhammad Hameed was the first doctor, he served there for ten years. Then another Dr Muhammad Bashir Esal serviced for one year. After that, Chaudhry Muhammad Hasan, then Dr Ashraf for five years and lastly, Dr Mirza Baig. On what basis it was being said that there was no dispensary? He said that “we are ready to present all the evidence before DHO Poonch” if there is any honour in the government, they should upgrade this old dispensary and give relief to the poor people there. The Prime Minister of the state Mr Sardar Tanvir Ilyas, the Health Minister of Azad Kashmir should have mercy on the people of Darikot and solve the problems there. This organization has become a politic. When their mother and daughter fall ill, they often die on the way to Abbaspur or Hajira. The world today demands and uses modern scientific and educational and health facilities but “We are still forced to live in the stone age” The current politicians are responsible for this. Mohammad Rafaqaat said that “we pray for Sardar Ghulam Musa Khan, late and honourable Jehanu took the dispensary for Dhirkot from the government of that time”.Sardar Ghulam Musa Khan was the right hand of the late Sardar Abdul Qayyum Khan. He took this dispensary during this difficult period. On this, they pay tribute to the late Sardar Ghulam Musa. Muhammad Rafaqat Khan said that the people of Ghandi, Dhirkot, Khet and other suburbs gathered there and strongly protested against the lack of a current dispensary and strongly demanded the government and the MLA constituency activate the Dhirkot dispensary immediately and upgrade it as well. It should be remembered that Darikot village is deprived of the blessing of a paved road even in this modern era. Electricity is nominal but not functional. The electricity remains off for ten days and the coil of the transformer could get burnt. The public donated to get another transformer, but it also gets damaged. The Department of Electronics does not pay attention. He said that they will prepare a plan of action very soon based on the opinion of the people.
