Quetta, (Parliament Times): The education-friendly vision of Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo has continued In the Department of Colleges Higher and Technical Education Balochistan, a total of 290 teachers have been promoted from B-17 to B-19 in the year 2022. The department has made a compensation policy for the first time. The objective is the temporary placement of teachers in inter, degree, and post-graduate colleges and technical institutes to overcome the shortage of teachers. Department has implemented for the first time MPhil and PhD policy which now through advertisement Applications would be called for various slots of Phil and PhD. For the first time, the lecturers are being appointed in their areas, the University Act has been passed and for the first time, the appointment of 6 Vice-Chancellors by the Search Committee and the implementation of the recommendations of the Search Committee has started. The department has cleared 110 medical cases. Medical claims of Rs.10.00 million were made in one year. MPhil and PhD policies have been introduced. The draft has been sent to the Chief Minister for approval, three cadet colleges have been functional in a year, Awaran Cadet College, Girls Cadet College Quetta and Cadet College Kharan will be inaugurated in March 2023 and Balochistan Academy for College Teachers (BACT) which came into existence in 2007 while credit goes to the same government for the creation of the act, while the three new Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education branches established in Rakhshan, Sibi and Zhob.The public, educational and social circles highly appreciated this positive initiative of the Chief Minister and especially the teachers have expressed the expectation that the important measures like the provision of facilities by the Chief Minister to education -friendly and teachers will continue like this. These initiatives will bring significant change in the education sector in the province.
