Quetta, (Parliament Times) : Governor Balochistan Malik Abdul Wali Khan Kakar had said that they will have to take tough decisions to uphold merit in education and health sectors in Balochistan and bluntly said that no compromise will be made in this regard. He asked the elected members of the Assembly to identify the problems in various fields and to cooperate with them in advancing matters based on merit and to prioritize national interest over personal interest in all circumstances. He expressed these views while talking to a delegation of members of the Provincial Assembly led by BNP parliamentary leader Malik Naseer Ahmed Shahwani at Governor House Quetta. On this occasion, he said that Allah Almighty has given us a rare opportunity to serve the people selflessly, and we should take advantage of it and set an exemplary example of selfless service to the people of Balochistan. Governor Balochistan thanked those who came for congratulations.On this occasion, the MPA’s requested the governor to focus on improving the performance of federal institutions in the province, especially the improvement of higher education, to play a role in removing the financial difficulties of public universities and in different districts and continue all efforts to give university status to the existing university campus. He appreciated that there is a good team of senior and experienced officers in the Governor House and Secretariat and that their skills would be fully utilized.
