Quett,, (Parliament Times) : Balochistan Chief Minister Mir Abdul Qudoos Bizenjo had said that no society could develop without the participation of women. In one of his messages on the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Chief Minister said that he was a supporter of the policy of gender equality and women’s development, which aimed to create a better, sustainable, and suitable environment for women and girls by making meaningful reforms and ensuring their participation in all sectors, they also had to provide an opportunity to play their key role in the development of the society. The Chief Minister said that the provincial government to provide equal opportunities to women in all sectors was committed and embarked on the journey of ensuring the advancement of women through policy reforms. The inclusion of women in the development process will enable the achievement of Sustainable Development Goals.The Chief Minister said that half of the population of their country consisted of women who were indispensable to be included in the process of development. Steps were being taken to provide education to women as well as to participate in business activities. The Chief Minister said that all national institutions and the Women Parliamentarian Caucus, Ombudsman, Protection from Harassment of Working Women, and Balochistan Commission Status of Women are seen as a guiding principles by law enforcement agencies. Chief Minister said that women’s partnership was important for a strong economy and they must raise their voices against violence against women and especially housewives and make their role more effective for gender equality and women’s development and society for all without discrimination. The provision of equal human rights is to be made possible.
