Paris, (France): A protest demonstration to condemn the arrest of Mohammad Khan Bhatti principal secretary to former chief minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervez Elahi was organized in Paris ( France) under the auspices of Pakistan Muslim League-Q. Held under the patronage of Pakistan Muslim League-Q, the rally was lead by Asmatullah Tarar and Muslim League-Q France President Chaudhry Muneer Ahmad Waraich.
It is pertinent to mention here that since the dissolution of Punjab provincial assembly Mr Bhatti first was allegedly harassed by the the agencies and then kidnapped and his whereabouts are not known so far. A large number of Pakistani community protesters carried banners in their hands that called Muhammad Khan Bhatti’s release , Imported government disapproved, Stop illegal arrests and system of cruelty Disapproved, Disapproved like slogans were displayed and raised .The protesters vowed ‘We don’t accept the rules of tyranny and hence demand immediate release of Mr Bhatti. The speakers maintained that this imported government has reached the extreme of fascism, if Muhammad Khan Bhatti has committed any crime, he should be brought before the court of law. They said that picking people up and disappear them in this way, is extremely cruel.
President PML-Q France Chaudhry Munir Warraich said that the current government has reached the peak of its unpopularity – this government has failed and in frustration and confusion is trying hard to suppress every voice that exposes its disgusting face to the world.
Addressing the protest, Asmatullah Tarar said that the accusation of corruption against Muhammad Khan Bhatti is no less than a joke , he said that Muhammad Khan Bhatti has served the poor people in his area and the whole of Pakistan stands behind him . The speakers threatened that if Muhammad Khan Bhatti is not released shortly , the protest will be spread across Europe . They said that we should not be forced to stand in front of the European Parliament for protest reasons – They demanded the immediate release of Mr Bhatti. Malik Abid ,Shabbir Al Badr , Zulfikar Jatala , Yasir Qadeer ,Afzal Ahmed Gondal and Khurram Tarar also addressed the protest rally.
