Muzaffarabad, (Parliament Times) : “India! Leave Jammu and Kashmir” long march organized by Pasban-e-Hurriyat Jammu and Kashmir reached the capital after covering 63 kilometers on Kashmir Solidarity Day.
According to details, hundreds of citizens formed a long chain of human hands on Srinagar road while chanting Anti-India and pro freedom slogans.
Citizens, including women, children, elders and youths, welcomed the procession at Manakpiyan.
The march was led by Chairman Uzair Ahmad Ghazali, Usman Ali Hashim, Qari Bilal Ahmad Farooqi, Shaukat Javed Mir, Dr. Muhammad Manzoor, Chaudhry Muhammad Mushtaq, Mushtaq Salam, Chaudhry Muhammad Ismail, Javed Ahmed Mughal, Farhat Qureshi, Umm Iman, Muhammad Farooq Sheikh, Mohammad Fayaz Khan and others.
While addressing the march, the speakers said that today people of Kashmir and Pakistan expressed their unflinching solidarity with the people living in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K).
They said that no power in the world can break the religious and ideological ties of Kashmiri and Pakistani people.
Speakers stated that the march has been organized to draw the attention of the United Nations, European Union and international human rights organizations to the worst situation in IIOJ&K.
Speakers said that India should know that its occupation on Jammu and Kashmir will never be recognized, adding that Jammu and Kashmir is not a part of India, the Security Council should make possible measures in holding of free, fair and impartial Plebiscite in the state.
“United Nations should annul all the illegal actions taken by the Indian government in the occupied state of Jammu and Kashmir on August 5, 2019”, they demanded.
The speakers said that international community should bring the Indian soldiers who killed the Kashmiri youth in fake encounters to the International Court of Justice.
Demanding the “OIC” to stop Indian conspiracies against the Muslim majority in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, participants of the march held banners and placards seeking their help to stop genocide of Muslims in IIOJ&K.
They march started from LOC Chakothi on 3rd February has been ended at Bank Road Muzaffarabad on 5th February.
