Mirpur (AJK) : Central leader of MQM Azad Kashmir, former parliamentary leader and former Minister of Tourism and Transport Muhammad Tahir Khokhar said that Azad Kashmir can be transformed into a prosperous and self-sufficient state by developing tourism. Attention is needed. Crores of rupees are wasted every year. Instead of this, if attention is paid to tourism, this region can become a paradise. Foreign countries are developing tourism in the country and they have given tourism the status of an industry. And their income depends more on tourism, Azad Kashmir is a naturally beautiful region It is only necessary to pay attention to it, through which tourism will become an industry in Azad Kashmir, unemployment rate will decrease in Azad Kashmir, business will increase, and happiness will come to the state. If the rulers pay attention to tourism, Azad Kashmir today I would not have been unemployed and Azad Kashmir would have been the most prosperous state in Asia. In the past, as the tourism minister, despite all the political opposition, he created an economic revolution in the Neelum and Jhelum valleys by giving tourism the status of an industry and providing employment opportunities to thousands of people. The current government has not been able to take any steps regarding tourism and has not been able to make any plan for the development of tourism due to which tourism in Azad Kashmir is falling.Due to which the local business is also affected and unemployment is increasing while the businessmen are also suffering, Tahir Khokhar said that Azad Kashmir is a fortunate region which nature has enriched with natural resources but unfortunately till today Due to incompetent rulers and ding-tapao policies, central government assistance is needed. He said that the traditional outdated thinking in Azad Kashmir must be ended now, the doors of capitalism will have to be opened, only by attracting the private sector to invest in tourism and hydropower generation, billions of rupees can be earned annually. And the government can be transformed into a welfare state where health, education and all basic facilities can be provided free of charge. By following the manifesto of MQM, Azad Kashmir can be transformed into an ideal welfare state
