Rawalpindi) : At least 3 persons were killed and 3 injured in firing incident in a private housing society in the area of Chountra police.
The incident took place due to dispute among rival parties.
The identification of those killed in the firing is underway. Those injured are Tahir, Noor Ali and Yasir.
The bodies have been shifted to hospital for medico legal proceedings.
SP Sadar Muhammad Nabil Khokhar and SDPO Civil lines are there on the scene along with contingent of police. The incident is being investigated. The evidence are being collected from the scene.
SP and DPO have said those involved in the incident will soon be apprehended and brought to justice.
Chief Minister Punjab Chaudhry Pervez Elahi has ordered to arrest the accused forthwith.
