The lack of involvement of outside political leadership in local council elections has improved the current law and order situation which is a reflection of our civilized society.
He expressed these views while presiding over the meeting organized in the series of review of all the arrangements in the polling and municipal election campaign in the three districts of Mirpur, Kotli and Bhambar on December 08. And instructions were given that the Election Commission has issued a code of conduct for the candidates, according to which, wherever there is a violation, no concession will be taken. In such a case, the successful candidate will be declared ineligible. This point should be conveyed to the candidates and the public in any case and the awareness campaign should be sent to every polling station so that their voters and spotters also know that their slight mistake will result in their loss. In this regard, the people at each polling station at the local level and especially the members of the coordination and reconciliation committees have full responsibility. No society can establish peace and trust without public cooperation. The role of reconciliation committees has been exemplary.
