Pakistan is on the verge of economic collapse due to depleting foreign exchange reserves and spiralling inflation, and the political instability in the country has further worsened the economic crisis. Pakistan is already economically depressed country .while political rallies have made things worsen, the economic consequences of these events can be dire for the common man and the government,as well. Inflation in Pakistan is expected to reach 23% in FY23 and with U.N.’s food and agriculture organisation showing record of high food prices record by its food price index , which is standing at 159.70 index point in march 2022 -the highest since it was formed in 1990s this will put further pressure on food prices in our country, our country s already suffering from double digit inflation.
Food prices are directly correlated with an increase in social unrest ,blocking the roads isn’t solution of anything it will just create problems for country’s economy , Businesses are facing massive losses due to road blockades, Education system is disrupted in Islamabad and all over Punjab,we already have lost a news reporter, and a person during attack on our ex-prime minister 1person of our nation means murder of our nation which is clearly showing that these type of rallies isn’t a solution , people are blocking roads serious patients are unable to reach at hospitals due to this situation ,and nowadays there is festival for Hindus and Sikhs at Nankana sahib which is holly event for these religions they couldn’t travel there because trains have been stopped, and Also hindus and sikh will come from india which is a great opportunity for pakistan’s economy. Even it was said by our ex-PM to Sikhs that “Kartarpur is your Madina and Nankana sahib is Your Makkah. we (Muslims) can’t even imagine someone keeping us away from Makkah and Madina” . So now what about these Sikhs and Hindus will it not impact on their pilgrimage?? And also this attack on Imran khan reminds the time when Benazir Bhutto was assassinated . It caused widespread civil unrest in Pakistan Bhutto’s supporters took to the streets putting up roadblocks lighting fires and chanting anti-Pakistan slogans .and businesses ,factories were burned down and it caused further below to Pakistan economy . therefore, Our politicians should solve problems peacefully instead of creating destruction for businesses and education .
