Muzaffarabad, (Parliament Times): Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmad Ghazali has said that the Azad Kashmir government should go beyond statements, visits and play its constitutional role in launching a decisive resistance movement for the independence of the Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K). In a statement issued here on Thursday, he expressed concerns over the threatening statements of Rajnath Singh and General Amardeep Singh Aujla that their threats will prove disastrous for the peace of the region. While expressing regret over the disappointing role of the base camp government, Uzair Ahmed Ghazali said that the Indian government atrocities in IIOJ&K are on record with the entire country’s resources and one million troops.
On the other hand, the base camp government and political parties with their desperate role are playing the role of silent spectators to Indian crimes and are giving Indian imperialism a free opportunity to commit atrocities on innocent Kashmiri citizens. He said that the past and present governments of the base camp should honestly account for whether their constitutional and national responsibilities have been fulfilled or not. He raised questions on political leaders of base camp government, asking that would India’s one million troops be forced to withdraw from the occupied state with repeated press statements, foreign visits, press conferences and speeches?
“Brutal Indian forces are surreptitiously armed with modern weapons across the Line of Control”, Ghazali cautioned. Ghazali maintained that for the last 33 years, no effective, solid and workable plan could be implemented in the base camp regarding the freedom movement, which is a question mark for the leadership of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. “Silence role of the base camp on August 5, 2019 on Indian illegal constitutional changes and the worst attacks on Muslim identity on the occupied part raised many question marks”, he added. He said that the people of the state of Jammu and Kashmir should prepare themselves for a big fight against India for their freedom because the brutal followers of Hindutva can do something stupid at any time. Ghazali said that the people of Kashmir have to take action themselves for freedom from Indian illegal occupation. He called upon the government of Azad Jammu and Kashmir to effectively activate the resistance movement to fulfill its constitutional responsibilities for the liberation of the occupied state. Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat also demanded the United Nations to stop India from terrorism and provocation in IIOJ&K, adding that the silence of the international organizations on the Kashmir issue could lead to unrest in the region and a clash between the two nuclear powers.
