The Kashmir issue has entered its 75th year without resolution. This problem arose as a result of India’s expansionism and aggression with the independence of both countries in 1947 when it allied with the Hindu ruler of Jammu and Kashmir and launched its forces to occupy Kashmir. tried to. The Kashmiris had already repulsed the forces of the Hindu Maharaja everywhere through their movement, they started a struggle against the Indian forces. Indian forces started massacring innocent Kashmiris and thousands of Kashmiris were forced to migrate to Pakistan to save their lives. In these circumstances, Pakistan had to enter the field to help its Kashmiri brothers. Thus, a limited war broke out between these two newly independent countries. In these circumstances, Pakistan had to enter the field to help its Kashmiri brothers. Thus, a limited war broke out between these two newly independent countries. Finally, due to the continuous pressure on the Indian government and to save its forces from defeat, India knocked on the door of the United Nations Security Council for help and requested a ceasefire. India has promised the nations of the world in the Security Council that it will conduct a free and impartial referendum under the supervision of the United Nations in the state of Jammu and Kashmir, in which the Kashmiri people will have the right to decide their own future. Join Pakistan or India as you wish. The United Nations Security Council Commission on India and Pakistan and the United Nations Military Observer Group on India and Pakistan were created. The Security Council Commission was responsible for completing the polling process while military observers established a ceasefire line and monitored it.On January 5, 1949, after the demarcation between the two countries was established, a complete ceasefire was reached. After that, when the work for the referendum started, the traditional malice of India came to the fore. Due to international pressure, India started negotiations with Pakistan. Pakistani Foreign Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Indian Foreign Minister Sardar Soran Singh held a historic round of negotiations on the Kashmir issue, in which instead of giving proposals to resolve the Kashmir issue, India confused them further. Finally, in 1962, these negotiations ended without results. After this, violent protests against India broke out in Occupied Kashmir. By the middle of 1965, India was unable to eliminate them, so it attacked Pakistan, to which Pakistan responded in kind. closed and an agreement was reached between the two countries in Tashkent, mediated by Russia, in which India assured to resolve the Kashmir issue through negotiations, but it also broke its commitment and attacked Pakistan in 1971 and invaded East Pakistan. separated from him. On the intervention of the Security Council, a ceasefire was renewed and after long negotiations, the Shimla Agreement was reached. In which India assured to resolve the Kashmir issue through negotiations. However, despite the signing of the Shimla Agreement, India did not budge from its stubbornness and withdrew from negotiations on the main issue of Kashmir between the two countries. He was constantly reneging on his promises. He rejected every resolution passed by the Security Council on the Kashmir issue and every proposal presented for its solution. The residents of the state of Jammu and Kashmir were also fed up with India. organized themselves and by the year 1990 they started an organized struggle for independence from India. In order to end this struggle, India broke the mountains of oppression on Kashmiris, which made the atrocities of Genghis Khan and Hitler disappear. He deployed over a million of his military and paramilitary forces in Kashmir with immense powers. They were given inhuman powers to arrest Kashmiris without permission, search their houses, fire, desecrate women and even kill them. This is the reason why thousands of extrajudicial killings are taking place in Indian Occupied Kashmir, their men, women and youth are being held in various jails or detention centers without trial. Most of them are not allowed to litigate, they can neither meet their relatives nor can they represent themselves. Even if they fall ill, they are not given medical aid.In case of death, their prayers are not offered until the funeral. Indian forces kill them in detention centers and bury them secretly. The largest number of graves of anonymous people in the world have been found in Indian Occupied Kashmir. Which has been confirmed by international organizations working on human rights. The Indian government did not only oppress the Kashmiris, it also abolished the special status given to occupied Jammu and Kashmir under Article 370 of the Indian Constitution and made it a part of the Indian Union, and so far more than three million Indian residents have been granted Kashmiri citizenship. At the same time, India launched a hateful and violent campaign against Kashmiris across India to keep them marginalized. Kashmiri students are being expelled from Indian educational institutions, Kashmiris working or doing business in India are beaten up, their shops and belongings are looted. Inside Kashmir, the Indian Army is officially destroying their fields. Their crops are set on fire, Indian forces systematically cut down trees in their orchards, trucks loaded with fruit from Kashmiris are not allowed to leave the state, causing their fruits to rot. And this is how India is openly punishing Kashmiris for their struggle for freedom by making an economic massacre. On the other hand, those who migrated to Azad Kashmir after being fed up with Indian atrocities are treated as guests and brothers by the state government and the people here. Despite its limited resources, the Azad Kashmir government is resettling these refugees on a permanent basis. They are given a place to live and houses, their children get free education up to university. Per capita living allowance is being given to these guest migrants on monthly basis. The government of Azad Kashmir has also allocated quota in government jobs for such refugees who want to stand on their own feet. These refugees have all the rights that citizens of Azad Jammu and Kashmir have, including vote, identity card, international travel documents, state citizenship. The government of Azad Kashmir and the government of Pakistan are making great efforts for a peaceful solution to the Kashmir issue. In order to highlight the issue of Kashmir, former Prime Minister Imran Khan chose the honor of ambassador of Kashmir for himself. He raised the issue of Kashmir in every forum, every interview and every platform. The government of Azad Kashmir is also raising its voice in this matter. Azad Jammu and Kashmir Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas kept the issue of Kashmir at the forefront during the talks with the American Ambassador during his recent visit to Azad Kashmir. Similarly, whenever the representatives of Western countries, international forums and the influential countries of the Gulf had talks, they emphasized for a peaceful solution to the Kashmir issue everywhere. The name and character of President Barrister Sultan Mahmood Chaudhry does not need any introduction for the solution of the Kashmir issue. Whether they are in the government or not, they are always active in solving the Kashmir issue. He has been on a foreign visit since last month, where he held talks with the United Nations Security Council members, including the United States Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and the government representatives of many influential countries. Paved the way. The fact is that the people of the state of Jammu and Kashmir are constantly making sacrifices in fulfillment of this pledge that they will decide their own future, they will not stay with India under any circumstances, they will make all the sacrifices but their future and relationship with Pakistan. Will keep in touch.
