A great police officer is known for his courage, resilience, unflinching devotion, and honesty to serve the public. Sohail Zaffar Chattah, DIG Ops, ISB, is the embodiment of the said virtues. He has been DPO RYK and Gujrat. He played a phenomenal role in maintaining law and order situations when he was DPO in district Rahimyar Khan. During his tenure, many of the most wanted gangsters were killed. The whole district since then been in peace and the people of RYK are highly indebted to him. He is also best known for his humbleness and generous attitude towards his subordinates. In a recent hot conversation between Inspector Isb Police and Shah Mahmood Qureshi. When SQM was scolding the Inspector, he courageously said to the former minister “Sir he is an inspector and a respectable police officer”. Moreover, his contribution to making Islamabad peaceful will remain unforgettable. As he took the charge, he displayed enough courage to maintain law and order. He managed to prevail peace during the trying times when Islamabad was under chaos in Kisan Protest. Recently, during the operation, the most wanted gangster was killed in Islamabad, and credit goes to him for curtailing such miscreants. Pakistan needs such police officers who could work under pressure with impartiality. Every police officer must learn from him. Such police officers are an inspiration to many youngsters who want to see their country progress. Such police officers are assets of Pakistan.
