FAISALABAD: The Samanabad Sports Complex has been opened which was closed for two years, in which sports activities will be resumed from next Monday. The Deputy Commissioner Imran Hamid Sheikh visited the various parts of sports complex and directed the District Sports Officer to start, cleanliness and renovation of complex which was immediately implemented.
The Deputy Commissioner while congratulating the sportsmen of Samanabad and surrounding areas and said that due to the corona epidemic the vaccination center and later the Ehsaas Disbursement Center were established in the complex, the sports activities were suspended and a resident of Samanabad also ccommented on social media for opened the complex for which immediate action was taken and necessary instructions were issued to the District Sports Officer. He said that the Ehsaas Center was shifted to the under construction table tennis hall of Al-Fath Sports Complex so that the Sports Complex Samanabad can be reserved for sports activities only
He expressed hope that with the opening of the complex, there will be healthy sports competitions here. He said that the provision of public service and facilities is the agenda of the district administration, which is being implemented diligently.
