Srinagar: A one day Mushaira programme was organised by Shanti Manas Foundation in the memory of our beloved great leader of nation Mohandas karamchand gandhi who is also known as bapu or the father of nation at Zabarwan park Srinagar.In this programme many dignitaries were invited who presented their poems and couplets in the remembrance of leader of the nation. The dignitaries included Rukhsana Jabeen, Rehana kousar, Rubeena Mir, Neerja Neer, Masroofa Qadir , Naseem Shifayee ,Anjalee Adaa & Shugufta Zahid. The Divisional Commissioner of Kashmir Shri P. k Pole was invited as Chief Guest & Mr.Tariq Ahmad Shera was invited as Special Guest. President of ACA & SKLCWS Mr.Tariq Ahmad Shera felt amazed to see such glimpse of women empowerment and persuaded he will launch a segment in his upcoming programme which will be dedicated to women in which a women folk will present their poetry without hesitation and feel encouraged.Mr.Tariq Ahmad Shera feels women also can turn the tables over and compete with the men in all fields if granted an opportunity.
