Relentless downpours over the past a few weeks have inundated vast stretches of sindh. it caused an inconvenience to the citizens of sindh besides, hundreds of thousands of people are homeless along with their cattle due to the continuous rainfall. some are dwelling along the roads and others are in the schools, that have been turned into relief shelters to house, because of entering arsenic and unhygienic water into their homes.having no proper drainage system and lacklustre response of sindh government water accumulation has become menace to these people. although the heavy rain keeps exacerbating the sufferings of sindhi people but no one has come to wipe the tears of down-trodden so far. the sindh government knows that sindh regularly receives intense rain fall but there is ground for concern that the attached entities has not made hectic efforts to minimise the sufferings of its people. it is clear that ruling class just tries to fill its coffers in fact they have nothing to do with public welfare. if sindh government shows less interested in assisting to its people in difficult time it will witness tough time in future.so, in order to handle the situation this government should not evade queries related to responsibilities instead of that it should help them and should get shelters and rescue centres built, forthermore all available resources should be utilised for this purpose and machinery and pumps are required, they should be provided as per instructions.
