Noor Khan Bakhrani Tangwani
Post scenario of recent spell of disastrous rains is more worsening than ever before. These days the un-influential and helpless citizens of Tangwani are fighting on two fronts: flood situation and inflation. Flood affectees have to face a plethora of problems and tremendous hardships like price hike of daily consuming commodities including vegetables and fruits talking to skies and outbreak of contagious diseases like gastro, diarrhea, vomiting and malaria. The conditions of sanitation in the town is regrettable and very poor. The heaps of rubbish and garbage are lying everywhere in every nook and corner of each Muhala. Sanitation staff has been out of the screen for the last one month and dirt has been amassed on main paths, lanes and streets. Consequently, numerous deadly diseases broke out and the poor masses are worried about the health of their families specially, kids and teenagers are catching gastro and other abdominal diseases. So far gastro claimed many precious lives in Tangwani and surrounding areas. The labour and poor class is being affected badly because of financial crisis and poverty issues, can’t afford neck-break fees of private clinics to get their dear and near one’s treated. The instant remedy to avert this critical situation is to provide immediate free medical facility to the masses. Besides this the removal of rubbish from streets and Muhalas is urgent need and demand of citizens to lead a life of comfort and satisfaction. In this regard, we appeal to Sindh Government department of health to arrange free medical camps in rain affected villages and town Tangwani to save the precious lives of citizens. Furthermore, the inflated price hike must be decreased, controlled and the rates ought to be vigilantly monitored, hoarders and profiteers be arrested and fined in order to ensure that the common people are buying daily use articles at reasonable and discounted prices in this moment of distress and ordeal.
