Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Technology of Liaquat University of Medical and Health Sciences Jamshoro organized a program under the title of “Independence Ceremony” in Latif Hall to celebrate the 75th Independence Day of the country. On this occasion, a documentary made by the students of the institute regarding the efforts made for the freedom of the country was shown, later the students presented tableaus and paid great tribute to the founder of the country, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah. In the ceremony, the students said, “The freedom and independence of the country is a blessing.” Speaking to the participants Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Ikram u Ddin Ujjan highly appreciated the documentary, tableaus and speeches of students and female students and congratulated them for their commitment to the country. Vice-Chancellor Prof Dr. Ikram u ddin praised the youth for their performance and said that he was heartened to see the talents of the students of the Institute of Biomedical Engineering and Technology. He said that organizing events on every important day including Independence Day of the country and participation of students and female students in it is actually a part of educational activities, through which the best skills will be developed. On this occasion, certificates of appreciation were distributed by VC LUMHS Prof Dr Ikram u Ddin Ujjan to more than 20 male and female students.
