Karachi : IBCC’s new regional office was inaugurated by Federal Minister for Education & Professional Training Rana Tanveer Hussain in Karachi to provide modern and state-of-the-art facilities to the students under the auspices of the Inter-Board Committee of Chairman. Muhammad Ismail Raho, Minister of Boards and Universities Sindh, Secretary Boards and Universities Muhammad Mureed Rahmon, Managing Director National Book Foundation Dr. Raja Mazhar Hameed, Secretary IBCC Dr. Ghulam Ali Malah, heads of all education boards of Sindh, vice chancellors and other officials attended the ceremony.
Addressing the ceremony, Rana Tanveer Hussain said that the government is trying to provide quality and hassle-free facilities to the students, the establishment of a new regional office of IBCC equipped with state of the art facilities is the best step towards enhancement of public dealing in government offices.
He emphasized that education is the first priority of the federal government despite the economic problems. He further said that, the educated youth will lead Pakistan on the path of development, most of the population of the country is young, who have the right to be educated. The students will benefit from the establishment of a state-of-the-art regional office here in the city. He further said that the youth should focus on education without being disturbed by the political situation. This is the survival of all of us.
While admiring the services of IBCC, the minister said that, IBCC is working hard for educational reforms in collaboration with all the educational boards across the country despite its resources.
On this occasion, Secretary IBCC said that, with the support of all educational boards, the supplementary tag has been removed from the secondary and inter exams and thus the first annual and second annual exams will be held. During the ceremony, prizes were distributed among position holders of all Educational Boards of Sindh. Secretary IBC Dr. Ghulam Ali Malah thanked all the honored guests for attending the inaugural ceremony.
