Muzaffarabad, (Parliament Times) : Chairman Pasban-e-Hurriyat Uzair Ahmad Ghazali paid tribute to the martyrs of Chota Bazar of Srinagar in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K) on their 32nd martyrdom anniversary.
In a statement issued to media, he said that 32 years before on 11th june 1991,the massacre of unarmed civilians witnessed in Srinagar where more than 30 civilians including women and children were brutally murdered by “BSF” and “CRPF” goons.
He maintained that dozens of civilians were seriously injured in the worst attack by the brutal Indian forces.
He lamented that Indian killers had not been brought to justice and the heirs of the martyrs, the injured and other victims could not get justice.
“Indian government and its forces have carried out hundreds of planned attacks on unarmed civilians in which thousands of civilians have been killed”, he stated.
“The extrajudicial killing of youth in mock clashes is part of the Delhi government’s organized conspiracy to turn the Kashmiri people into a minority through genocide”, he added.
He further said that these atrocities could not break the resolve of the Kashmiri people to fight for their right to self-determination in accordance with the resolutions passed by the UN Security Council (UNSC).
The people of Jammu and Kashmir will continue the mission of the martyrs till the occupied state is liberated from the Indian military occupation.
