Gets rousing welcome from masses
Jhelum Valley, (Parliament Times) : Prime Minister Azad Jammu and Kashmir Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan during his day long visit to Jhelum valley inaugurated a small industry unit at Budhyara and inspected water rafting site at Kahow Walla Bagh here on Saturday.
After inauguration the PM visited different sections of the industry and assured his government’s full support to the industry owner. While inspecting the water rafting site at Kahow Walla Bagh, the prime minister was given a detailed briefing about the scope of the white-water rafting, canoeing, boating, angling and other water-sports opportunities in the area.
Early, on his arrival the Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan was accorded a warm welcome by the residents of the Jhelum valley. Holding welcome banners, people stood lined up along both sides of the road to greet the premier.
The jubilant PTI workers danced to the drum and Dhol beats and showered rose petals on the PM. The PTI workers from the electoral constituencies of Education Minister Diwan Ali Khan Chughtai and Syed Zeeshan Haider thronged in huge numbers to welcome the prime minister. Whereas a large number of people gathered at Garhi Dupatta Bazaar and Bhudiyara to welcome the prime minister and his cavalcade.
Prime Minister Sardar Tanveer Ilyas Khan on the occasion thanked the people of Jhelum Valley for their historic reception. On many occasions, the Prime Minister got out of the car to shake his hand with jubilant workers. He also talked to people, listened to their grievances, complaints and issued immediate orders for redressal.
The PM also received a rousing welcome from people at Saran. On the occasion, the people of the area presented their demands to the PM regarding the Kohala Hydropower Project.
At Nadol, former candidate Asif Iqbal Mughal along with the workers gave a hearty welcome and chanted slogans in favour of the prime minister.
