Rawalpindi, (Parliament Times): CTO Rawalpindi Naveed Irshad has said that in order to reduce the rate of safe travel and accidents, there is a need to create awareness among students and the public about compliance with traffic laws. The road safety campaign is a link in the same chain. Meanwhile Rawalpindi Traffic Police has introduced 24-hour licensing facility for the convenience of citizens. On the special orders of CPO Rawalpindi and on the instructions of CTO Rawalpindi, City Traffic Police Rawalpindi has launched this facility for the first time in the history of Punjab at the Traffic Headquarters. Remember that it was difficult for job seekers and students to get a license during office hours. Citizens will now be able to avail licensing facilities even after office hours. In the first phase, driving learner permit, renewal license and international license facilities are being provided in the evening and night hours.
