ISLAMABAD:  Information minister Marriyum Aurangzeb has refuted the news spread against Pakistan former ambassador to US Asad Majil dubbing it a fake news.

In a statement issued here Saturday she said the news which has been fomented through sources about letter is fake news.
She termed the news “concocted”, “misleading” and against the national interest.

As per media reports Marriyum Aurangzeb said the debate on the so-called regime change and foreign conspiracy just got fizzled out after the release of NSC meeting’s statement which made it clear that there was no conspiracy against the previous government. Those who were trying to portray the ouster of government as conspiracy were themselves hatching a conspiracy against the country, she added.

Spreading fake news is illegal and immoral, she underlined. It is no service to people.
Rejecting irresponsible attitude is obligation of every one and therefore, fake news be rejected, she underscored.
